I connect research and design with cultural sensitivity to create experiences that balance effectiveness with meaning, and local context with global resonance.

At IKEA, I work on the Digital Design team, where I help shape stronger relationships between millions of people and their homes, wherever home may be and whatever their budget. My role covers numerous markets and topics, from designing future digital and store experiences to exploring how expectations adapt by household, channel, product, and service.

Beyond my project work, I advance the organization's Design Research practice. This includes piloting an in-store research lab that enables teams to gather quick, high-quality insights on their own, as well as building resources—like a guide to culturally sensitive design research—to help upskill our teams.

Before IKEA, I worked at companies like IDEO and Just Eat Takeaway, and for clients including the City of Utrecht, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and VodafoneZiggo. My work has been featured by Fast Company, the European Design Awards, Dutch Design Week, and Novum Magazine. I’ve also spoken at events like the UX360 Conference in Berlin and CLEVER°FRANKE’s expert speaker series in Utrecht.

Outside of my day job, I’m the co-founder and editor-in-chief of No One—a print magazine that celebrates underground queer nightlife around the world. Each year, we focus on a different city’s LGBTQIA+ scene, sharing locally written stories of individuals and collectives who are organizing movements for their communities to build identity and connection through electronic music.
